I just found a funny bug for "angry ghost" perk. If you have an empty wand, the ghost will copy last want you've shot that had any spells, but at quite rapid pace. And even in infinite amount for spells that are otherwise finite. Sometimes it gets confused though, and starts to shoot enemies projectiles.

Not sure if it is a bug, but with independant testing to confirm this, the 'bezerk' buff (which among other things acts like being stained with bezerkium) is completely removed from drinking bezerkium, meaning that drinking bezerkium with Iron Stomach does '''absolutely nothing of benefit.''' In fact, with no way to make Bezerkium affect you beyond the duration the stain sticks, this removes a huge source of damage buff. Compare the effect of drinking concentrated mana , which still gives its designed drinking buff.

Currently the page states that Iron Stomach has "Anti-synergy with #Vampirism, but only from flasks." Based on their effects, I don't think this is the case. I picked Iron Stomach to go with my Vampirism and both drinking blood from flasks and the ground has the same effect, but without the risk of penalties from consuming other things. Perhaps whomever wrote that meant that Eat Your Vegetables has an anti-synergy with Vampirism, because Vampirism removes a safe satiety source. However, that has nothing directly to do with Iron Stomach. I think that line should be removed but I don't have an encyclopedic knowledge of the interaction and maybe there is an anti-synergy. If not, it should be removed and if so it should be clarified to explain how they fail to synergize. This math appears to be incorrect. 3^2 = 9, but 3^3 = 27, not 81. I know the math and/or wording is wrong, but don't know empirically what the game does with three LotE perks.

Table

Please make a table for the perks. It will look so much better. I will probably fix this at some point if no one else does this --Bryyrt (talk) 02:26, 27 September 2019 (UTC)

synergies page or section?

title says it all; there are some good synergies (e.g. vampirism + more blood, teleportitis + electricity) either with certain wands or other perks that we could probably add in

Perk Stacking

With the recent addition of perk rerolls it is now possible to stack multiple instances of the same perk. Most perks don't benefit from this (like immunities), but certain ones like Perk Lottery apparently do. Further testing is required to find out just how much of an effect this has. I'm particularly curious as to whether you can get more than one extra perk per altar. --FuNx24x7 (talk) 15:55, 20 November 2019 (UTC)

A mostly complete list of perk stacking effects, for the section on stacking

I don't have the know-pow to create a table, so I figure I'd just drop my data here in the talk page, just in case it could help with the section on perk stacking. A surprising amount of perks do stack in some way, but sadly ran into trouble with Worm perks, Revenge perks, and More Love / Hate. All interactions tested on the Beta Branch of 12/4/19 HypatiaDoingHerBest (talk) 02:48, 10 December 2019 (UTC)

About Perk IDs

Concering the IDs, i think that everything related to modding should be in the heavily underutilized modding section of the wiki. The spell and perks lists should, in my opinion, be for the average normal player, and IDs have no bearing whatsoever on their play experience and is (likely) not something they would be interested in. Perk pool - explanation needed

Could someone add an explanation for "perk pool"? It's mentioned twice near the start, but never described.

I've heard/read a few descriptions during twitch streams, but I don't know the exact details. Thanks! Quiddity-wp (talk) 02:03, 31 January 2021 (UTC)

Bug for "angry ghost"

I just found a funny bug for "angry ghost" perk. If you have an empty wand, the ghost will copy last want you've shot that had any spells, but at quite rapid pace. And even in infinite amount for spells that are otherwise finite. Sometimes it gets confused though, and starts to shoot enemies projectiles.

Less of a bug and more of a side effect of how they chose to implement it, really. It copies _nearby_ spells, not just your spells, from memory. And yeah, a fast-recharge empty wand will cause it to fire rapidly; it's coded to fire when you fire, last I checked into it. Vexx32 (talk) 00:16, 4 May 2021 (UTC)

Iron Stomach bug: 'Bezerk' stacking buff disabled, needs adding to chart.

Not sure if it is a bug, but with independant testing to confirm this, the 'bezerk' buff (which among other things acts like being stained with bezerkium) is completely removed from drinking bezerkium, meaning that drinking bezerkium with Iron Stomach does absolutely nothing of benefit. In fact, with no way to make Bezerkium affect you beyond the duration the stain sticks, this removes a huge source of damage buff. Compare the effect of drinking concentrated mana , which still gives its designed drinking buff.

Iron Stomach + Vampirism

Currently the page states that Iron Stomach has "Anti-synergy with #Vampirism, but only from flasks." Based on their effects, I don't think this is the case. I picked Iron Stomach to go with my Vampirism and both drinking blood from flasks and the ground has the same effect, but without the risk of penalties from consuming other things. Living on the Edge math
