The Powder Pouch is a small container which can spawn on any Item pedestal, much like the Kiuaskivi or Ukkoskivi. When held, it can be used to collect any powder material, up to a maximum of 1500 pixels. Players might use the Powder Pouch to contain ingredients or results from Alchemy, or to dig or build-up terrain.
Unlike Flasks, it's able to be thrown without breaking the container itself. However, it is still otherwise fairly fragile, and can easily be destroyed by even the smallest explosions.
Contents[]
When a powder pouch initially spawns, it will roll a random probability based on the world seed and the pouch's x and y coordinates. Depending on what outcome was selected, there is a small pool of powders that it will select from, with even chance for each in that pool. The table below details the probabilities of getting to each outcome. Pouches spawn 67% full (rounded from 66.6...%), equivalent to 1000 pixels of the material.
Probability | Result |
---|---|
75% | An even chance (1/7) for any of the following materials (10.7% chance for any individual possibility from this list): |
25% | An even chance (1/7) for any of the following materials (3.57% chance for any individual possibility from this list): |
Trivia[]
- The powder pouch can be used to pick up the Mud produced when water and soil are mixed. This can be sprayed on the walls of the Giant Tree or Forest mountain to climb out of the starting area and into the overworld.
- In its initial incarnation, it was named the Material box or Powder box, and was a breakable container.
