Nullifying Altar

The Nullifying Altar is a special structure found deep within the Sandcave, below the Overgrown Cavern. It is built of brickwork and has 3 slabs bearing alchemical symbols for materials.

If you get the correct materials into the corresponding spots, the whole room will flash bright, and all of your perks will be removed, and placed in the air above you. Now with them above, you can choose to pickup or leave any perk you previously had, as they won’t disappear on pickup.

The Extra Life perk and Fungal Shifts are not removed. One-use perks such as Faster Wands are not placed in the air. Extra Health perks are also not placed in the air above you, but you will keep the health. Vampirism is removed and picking it up will apply the health reduction a second time. If you have high satiation and Iron Stomach, your satiation will be set to 100%.

Spells that produce materials:

Removing Perks allows for collecting additional copies of non-stackable and limited stacking perks by saving perks in the world, such as Hungry Ghost and Extra Perk Except for Glass Cannon.

As long as the pits were filled with their respective materials, even if they get removed by something else such as a stray fire burning the Spirit, it will still count once they are all filled.

You can duplicate perks if you polymorph into any creature before the perks are removed from your character. An example of it being, filling up the silver and spirit, then proceeding to cast a blood cloud above the hole for blood, and lastly, quickly polymorphing into another creature before the blood cloud fills the hole.

The perks you hold will appear above the altar as usual, but the perks the character possesses would not be removed since the game cannot remove it while the character is polymorphed.

WARNING: Doing so will also spawn a Stevari right above the player immediately after they polymorph.
