Below is a guide on installing modifications to the game.

Steam Windows Version

1. Right click on Noita in the steam library menu. Go to "properties", and set the release to "noitabeta". Run the game at least once to install the beta version. >If you do not see the mods folder later, you have NOT done this step correctly!!!<

2. Download a mod. There are some sites with good mod selections, such as ModWorkshop.

3. Know if the mod has any dependencies. Some common mod dependencies are Ommel, and sometimes LIDL Noita. If it does, you may need to download and install it alongside the mod.

4. On Windows, go to C:/Program Files (x86)/steam/steamapps/common/Noita/mods , and then put the mods there.

5. If the mods are .zip files (you will see .zip in the name), right-click them and use "Extract". This will get the mods into your mods folder.

6. Run the game and enable the mods in the pause menu, and press 'Restart with selected mods enabled'. Congratulations, you have now installed your mods, and are ready to mess around with them!
