A Spell that leaves a slight trace of Acid behind it, and explodes into more Acid on contact with environment or entities.
Tips[]
- Firing upward is not recommended due to dripping acid. Firing straight down may also damage the player.
- Since Acid Balls bursts on contact with any other entity, shooting them in mid-flight is a valid way to defend yourself against them when used by the enemy. Beware: if the acid ball explodes at point blank range, the results may be lethal.
- The Acid inside them can burn through any material except glass, making this spell useful to dig through steel or brickwork.
- When equipped on a wand, it will slowly leak flammable gas.
- Applying Piercing Shot has a surprising effect, disabling apparent collisions with enemies and the player (rather than enabling repeated collisions), as well extending the projectile's effective lifetime considerably. Pairs well with additional modifiers like Homing and Damage Field. Pairing with Add Trigger may be more difficult than on other projectiles, as the natural deceleration appears to deactivate the triggering ability once the speed is low enough, and any projectiles spawned may collide with the original projectile.
